    Awesome era for dragsters. Really, really cool to see the original EMPI dragster at the beginning of the film. I've got a pic from a VW mag where that little dragster is strapped down on the tow rig, which isn't a big deal except that would be, to the TOP of his Beetle! haha

    Those V8 rails are gorgeous!

    327-365hp ... According to the YouTube member that posted it (solracer66), it was shot by Tex Steere (a family friend) on May 12th 1963 at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington.
