I have been lurking on the fringe for a while but decided to join and find out what goes on in the inner sanctum !! Before I got my driver license I started buying hot rod mags. Still have the 1st, a Customs Cars magazine from April 1958. Spent hours sketching my dream rods in school books. For 40 yrs I hung around guys who were building rods/custom cars but never had the time and proper place to build my own until now. So I am starting to street rod a 1938 Ford convertible club coupe aka cabriolet. '96 LT1/4L60E, Ford 9", TCI MII, rear leafs. Great site and great advice, Thanks. Ogopogo
