'63 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe - Paint/Wheel/Shave Ideas?

    Any pics of '63 Fairlanes done right? My step-dad has one in primer with a freshly rebuilt motor, and I keep pushing him to finish it in a "more traditional" or "mild kustom" style this winter -- but I'm pretty sure he doesn't understand what I mean. It's not going to be a Thunderbolt clone, so looking for any other cool ideas/inspiration you might provide...

    Flaked roof? Radirs? Scallops? Sensible removal of some trim?

    Images would be best, so I can explain to him a "look" that would work well for it...

    My favorite 63 for sure is the Tasca Ford ( prototype T bolt ) car . I think it was a 406 car.
