needing some 1/2" open ended lug nuts that look decent.
found some zinc plated ones but i think they'll rust after a while.

anybody know of some stainless or chrome plated ones?

oh yeah, they're tapered seat not shank nuts....
    (centerline telstars)
jegs and summit were no help...

yeah, i know, "not traditional" wheels but it MIGHT help somebody ELSE out somewhere down the line.

  2. Get some stainless aftermarkets - or even stockers - that work and drill em out on a lathe.

  4. Mr. Gasket I think it is, sells open ended lugnuts.
Seems like you ought to be able to find some that are tapered and open.

    How many do you need?

Go to Discount Tire or Big O tires and they should deal with Gorilla locking lug nuts. Look through the catalog and you should be able to find some in there that will work.

Or you could try this http://www.gorilla-auto.com/

I just ordered some open ended 1/2" lug nuts from my supplier. They came in a Wagner box. I can get the PN today when I go to the shop if you want it. They are chrome and look pretty nice.

Did you one better and just took a picture. I guess I can't say they are chrome (they looked it in the box) but they are a nice Zinc comparable to the Grade 5 stuff I order. Definitely nicer than your standard hardware store coatings.

  12. That's what I was going to say. The White rabbit has long studs on the back for some unknown reason ( :rolleyes ) and what i'm doing is takeing acorn lugs and knockin' the end off then drill 'n' tap. you can od it without a lath if your careful.

Hell Tom if you're not comfrtable with it send me a set and I'll do it for you. I have access to a lath.

Go to Ebay and type in Stainless Steel Lug Nuts and you will find 1/2" ones that are used for boat trailer applications.

It's strange that something so basic is so hard to find.
