Rather than order bearings through the Ford parts houses, I usually buy them from a bearing supplier for about 20% less money. So if anyone is interested, the Timken part numbers for '40 -'48 Ford front wheel bearings and races are: 09074, 09196, 15118 and 15250. Sorry, I don't remember which number coincides with which bearing or race. But I always change them all at the same time. While I'm at it, the throw out bearing for the '28 - '48 Ford 3 speeds is Federal Mogal part number 2065.
