    Hi all.
I discovered this site in another site (randyayers modeling). I'm brazilian and i like race cars from the past. I'm also a modeler, i (try to) build 1/24-1/25 race cars.I'm 46 old, i was born in Rio de Janeiro and now i live in little town in the south of Minas Gerais, married with a beautiful japanese woman, no kids.
    Cheers for all.

Welcome! Are you going to watch the Formula-1 Brazilian GP this weekend? M***a has a chance to win the championship. I live in the US and I have never seen a race in person cause F1 doesn't make any stops here. haha.

    Hi MikeVCU.
I'll see the GP in my tv, only for curiosity, i lost my interest in F1 since these cars became computadorized and Schumacher use to win almost all races (and i'm not a Senna widow !). I hope that M***a be the champion, but i really don't care for F1 today, only F1 from the past (50,60,70,80's).
From 1980 to 1983 i use to stay in the pits with the Osella (i speak i little of italian) team and 1984 with the team Williams (how the mechanics use to drink in that time...), those were the days...
    Cheers.

That's awesome, I wasn't born yet, but I know what you mean about F1 today, nowadays its all computerized and all the drivers are running basically the same car with different motors, and they are even talking about switching to a single, third party developed engine to be used in all the cars, which will make all the manufacturers obsolete because Ferrari will be running the exact same car as Honda, and so on and so forth. I still like F1 today, but it would have been cool to see what it was like before it was so popular and it wasnt as organized and over-commercialized.
