I will be coming out of Cincy to the event, arrival in Louisville mid-late AM Wednesday. If this sounds like it will fit with your plan, let me know; I would be happy to help you with the "engineering" (such as it is....LOL).

Leavind Monday fron Millersville. Stopping Monday night in Kentucky than arriving Tuesday around 11am. Me and 345window are making the trip. See you all on Friday and Saturday. Will

Yes, from what I saw last month while p***sing thru L'ville on the way to Bowling Green, all of lot A is gone, and the part of lot C that is in front of lot A is also gone. From what I understand the exhibit building is being expanded to almost "Ring Road". From the artist rendering of the new layout it looks like there will be lots of gr*** and landscaping in from of it in the furture BUT who knows what it will look like next week.

 

I'll be there with the rest of the R&C crew.

I'll be there working the Art Morrison Ent booth. Stop by and say "HI". We are in the East Hall Booth#675 & 673. It's always fun puttin' faces with some of the names.

 

Gonna roll in the AM. Louisville is almost 2K miles from here, and I have several buddies along the way whose refrigerators I have to inspect for beer inventory. Not much computer access until I get home; I guess I'll see y'all there.......drive safe.

well just found out today that i am going. my dad just bought a 64 suburban out of michigan. he was planning on haveing it shipped, but i asked why he doesn't just fly back and drive it home to san diego. he said he'd think about it and i talked to him later in the day and he asked me if i was up for a road trip. i said sure as long as your paying after all were going to pic up his new car not mine. so anyways we"re flying into michigan on tuesday gonna meet up with some relatives and pic up the suburban wed. then thurs. we're gonna head out for the nats. will be my first trip out there so i'm really looking forward to it. hopefully we'll make the art show fri but i'll definetly do the meet on saturday, would be really nice to meet some hambers from out of state and also get some cookies from HRLC,
also if anyone is leaving the kalamazoo area thursday we would love to cruise down to kentucky with you

 

We're leaving the Detroit area on Wed evening after work and sleeping at KustomLincolnLady's place in FtWayne, IN that nite. We'll be leaving her place for L'ville Thursday AM and taking I69 south, which I imagine you are as well. You will be about 1 1/2 hours behind us BUT if you leave very early in the morning, or drive real fast, you can catch up.

Here's my cell number, call when you get close to Ft Wayne and I'll tell you where we're at (or you can follow the cookie crumb trail) and maybe we can hook up for the continued cruz into L'ville.

Just got my car going I will be there late Wed night until Sun evening. Does anyone going have a extra HAMB sticker that can be bought down there? My car looks naked without one and my computer has been off for a month so i missed them. looking for Directions to the art show also.

 

I'm not going this year but if anyone is taking I-64 through central KY they can PM me for my phone # in case something happens. I live about 5 min. from exit 96 (Winchester) and about 20 mins from the 64-75 split in Lexington.

BTW a little tip - if traveling 64 west to Louisville don't stop for gas in Winchester, it is usually 15-25 cents cheaper in lexington

I can't believe the forcasted weather for Louisville this weekend !
Nice and cool and NO RAIN !!!!
The only thing I dread is the heat and humidity down there during the show. I dont look as good as the Blonde forcasters on the weather channel but here's goes anyway.
Changed our arrival times to a day earlier. leaving wednesday evening and arriving in Louisville around 12:00 midnight. Hope to meet everyone in the fairgrounds and not on the highway!

 

AS of right now, I think I'll make it on Friday sometime.
