I am working on my 28 modified. I am making the frame up from scratch. My question is this. Should I make the frame, visable under the hood? or I was thinking pull the frame in so all you see is the hood and the track nose. What do you think?

I would hide the frame and put a louvered belly pan under it:D:cool:

My opinion, is that if you are running hood sides you need some visual line running from the grille to the rear of the body. Dig some pictures of the VW powered Ts that Brizio sold. The had a Grille, full hood but no visible frame rail. To my eye there was nothing to tie it all together front to rear. All you eye caught was vertical lines. The intersections of the grille/hood, hood/cowl, but no horizontal lines to give it a "base".
If you don't run a hood the eye catches the motor as its main focus, and you see the frame rail joining the grille to the cowl.
    Cheers,
    Stewart.

A simple contoured belly running from nose to tail and up to the top of the frame rail would be an incredible amount of work but look OH SO GOOD!

Damn, that oval track nose looks SWEET, I doubt I will do a belly pan. Body work is not my forte. I will have to step back and rethink the frame. Luckily I have only tacked it together.

REALLY, I am on it. Here is some pics of the A with the frame getting made and the other is the mock up that I photoshopped with a track nose . This was the first time my wife saw this car in more complete form. She was not amused to see a second hot rod.
