No offense, but the ppe doesnt even get driven....how can it show they mean business?....and it wasn't built on the hamb.

If you wanna talk about pontiacs proving themselves look up Flamedabones sedan and how it gets driven to the drags, beat on....and then driven home.

Remember, he's looking for cars that were built, with a thread (or threads) detailing the build, here on the HAMB.

I see a couple posted so far that I don't recall seeing build threads. He was asking for a link, also....

I like this idea... keep 'em coming!

I can think of at least 20 more right off the top of my head. But as far as memorable I have to say I will never forget "SPANK'S" woodie- never before or after has anyone hyped themselves in quite the same manner. ;)
BobK deserves a mention as a guy the built and DRIVES his car.

  18. I believe that was the original intent of the thread, not just a list of names.
Here's an example of NealinCA's work:

  19. I'd throw NealinCA in here, but I don't remember a thread of the finished product. His work is second to none.

  20. too bad there has never been a tech thread from them. Even asked Axle via PM one time about something other than a post of car show hype...............Axle, step up man, nothing against ya,just telling it like it is.

If unfinished builds count, Im thinkin Kevin Lee's coupe fits the bill. And anything Zach Suhr works on is fantastic...

The one with the NASA-spec tunnel ram? :D

You'll have to dig deep in the memory banks, but before the RPU, Rogue built a ****erscotch '32 Sedan that was the bees knees for me. It was simple goodness defined.

I always liked ****'s truck, the Roach Rod and the BFD - ****, all of Samiyam's cars, and I really dig KIRK!'s Starliner... it's well do***ented.. but not much of a hot rod...

Hell YES! Still one of Sam's favorites! All of Sam's builds have been killer! A Coupe. roach Rod, Triumph, Bomb Factory racer and '55 Chevy. Loved them all.

"el mosquito", haha, Where is Germ when you need him? I still think Redneck Mike took a beating he didn't deserve over that one.

But back to the topic at hand:
    - The Roach Rod, just cause Brewsir and I pushed it up a hill to ride the rear end down a hill before Sam installed the SBC.
    - Glen's 48 Buick, because he does super clean work http://www.hotrodsbyglen.net/buick1.html
    - The Green Gernade build
    - and of course the step by step build of May Cause Dangerous

But, I get inspired by HAMB builders like Brian B***, Fritz, Mark Moriarity, Littleman, Gambino, Plowboy, and Cole Foster.

    B***´Fleetline,
    Flops Pontillac,

    Plowboys various creations...

so many really damn cool cars, it seems unfair to pick just a few.
