    Hi guys,
Like the ***le says, will a newer style stock FORD 8-lug wheel fit the older trucks?
I don't have a stud measuring tool and found a set of five 1993 Ford F250 truck tires & wheels for a darn good price. But i won't buy them if they won't fit.
    Your knowledge is appreciated!
    I have a '51 F2 3/4 ton truck.

I believe the 8 lug, 8 on 6 1/2 has been around for a mighty long time. If your truck has that bolt pattern you should be fine with the newer wheels. Later Ford wheels are metric so they don't fit anything but Ford.

To measure your lug pattern all you have to do is measure center of stud to center of the opposing stud.

    Good luck.

I believe they would, just double check all of your measurements and clearances. I put mid 70s GM 8lug wheels on the front of my 52 F3 and they fit perfectly. The rears didn't fit because the hub hole was to small to fit over the Ford hub.

97 is when Ford went metric. I run a set of newer wheels on my 52 F2.

Just as ******knuckles said, the wheels will fit your F2 which does have the 8 on 6.5 bolt pattern, the same as all the Ford and GM 3/4 ton trucks

    Thanks all,
Now I'll try to get them for a wicked good price...
