Do these guys sell to the public or do you have to be a dealer. I need more than one set. Does someone have a number for them here. Thanks
I bought front frame rail sections from them directly. Here is the last contact info I had... American Stamping Corporation 15451 Goodman Road, Olive Branch, MS 38654 (662) 895-5320 Neal
Thanks Neal, I did a Google search and found the same info on them. I have bought sets from dealers one at a time and paid just under $600.00. But I need a few sets now for a deal I got going and wa hoping to get the cost down some. Mike what rails are you talking about? If it's those fancy stamped boxing plate style from the Hotrods and Horsepower folks, we contacted them and they can't deliver any product, just keep getting excuses.
We've been buying from Speedway , it works out cheaper than I can buy anywhere else. I dont know who's rails they are but they seem better than ASC. Less crinkled steel on the rear kickup area than I've found on the ASC rails I have bought in the past. By the time our rails are home , they owe us approx. $950 including freight. We sell a fully boxed set with an A crossmember in the front , a double K centre and rear crossmember to accept coil overs for approx. $1800. (£1000 , here in the U.K.)
[ QUOTE ] Do these guys sell to the public or do you have to be a dealer. I need more than one set. Thanks [/ QUOTE ] We got together and bought 6 sets/at one time. They (ASC) paid the freight and reduced the price about 10%. This was 4 or 5 years ago.
I can get a good deal on 32 rails, if we can get a big order together, that would even be better. These rails are stamped in Wisconsin, they are the ones that dearborn sells. The rails are already notched in the back.

[/ QUOTE ] you better call Matt or Denny and talk to them (1-616-527-6051), when i was there a couple weeks ago they had just gotten a couple sets in. they are a dealer so i'm sure they get priority over Joe Shmoe, and you KNOW Matt will do you right. everything i have heard about the ASC rails has NOT been good. the reveal is all wrong, they are'nt straight for nothin and require alot of fitting in the jig. Denny says it took a whole day to get the damn ASC rails in the jig and the Dearborn ones fall right in, fit perfect and look GREAT. i've seen em, they are NICE!! he was a dealer for both and you KNOW Denny knows what he is doing and what he is talking about when it comes to duece chassis. he told me for what it costs to buy a set of ASC rails and have them C-notched (this is at HIS shop rate, which is lower than most people that can't do half the quality work as him) you could have bought a set of Dearborn rails, not had to fight with them to get them straight and they have the C-notch stamped right in them. hey, i don't make a dime either way, but i hate to see you spent good money on inferior parts. i'm just telling you what Denny told me and as far as i'm concerned Denny's word is gospel when it comes to anything duece chassis related. it's worth a call anyway...
Well I'm going to find out more about the better rails from Matt tomorrow. Like I said in my earlier post, we checked with the guys in Wisconson and kept getting excuses why we couldn't gey any product. but I have been hearing good things from Frame builders like Matt and Denny at Ionia Rod Shop.
Who, if anybody makes a 32 frame that fits a stock 32 2dr sdn body???.{ cannot be made for a flat floor, i.e glass bodies}, any help will be apperciated.
See KustomBuilder's reply; Denny will make one to fit. They're swamped right now, however. You might also call Deuce factory; their center tube crossmember allows for the stock front seat pan.
Also "Diamond dueces Rails" in Ashford ,Ct. Matt Karosi, Does a excellant job, priced right also!! JimV
The rails I can get are the Dearborn rails. The are nicer then the ASC rails. I just built a frame for my 28-29 sedan and they do not sell to the general public. A friend owns a rodshop and that is where I can get them. Let me know how many you want, I forgot to ask for a pice. I want to say $800, that is with full lenght boxing plates and if you are in Michigan I can bring them to you. If you are not too far.
