Just clicked on www.benchrace.com and fount out they did a really cool story on the HAMB's own Jeem (he is one of my favorite car/art guys) and figured I would encourage others to check it out. Jeem is to modest to plug himself on here... LOL

There are stories on/by a bunch of other HAMBers as well. Like 50fraud, DRD57, and others...

  5. Very cool. Lot's lots of talented people on the HAMB. It's a pleasure to be on the same forum and getting to "know" them.

    Thanks for the kind words!

It's a neat feature even IF it's about me......

BENCHRACE is a cool E-zine thing. I was impressed with it's simplicity, and laid back, genuine vibe. Cool content, at least until they put my ugly mug in there!

I told Robert to keep it simple....like In-n-Out Burgers. He said no worries.

  7. A great artical.

    A way cool web site.

Huh? Did I miss something? This was just supposed to be an "Atta Boy" for Jeem...

I think if we take the focus away from the guy that runs that site and put it on the guy that deserve it (Jeem), then this thread will work out much better.

    Jeem, your work rules.

That site is ran by Robert Ianello of midnitemotors.com. You know, the guy that promised you a chance at a steel deuce roadster if you registered on his site? Of course, he never gave away the roadster and then sold your registration information.

On top of that, he screwed the Navarro family over, got banned from the HAMB for being a crook, and is quite simply one of the worst guys I have ever been around. If you doubt me, just ask around... His name is mud in most circles.

Jeem that slant cab on page 13 is gorgeous. What's the story? Is it being built?

Jeems work does rock and I enjoy his pieces every time I see them in the mainstream publications and on the HAMB's own Friday Art Show.

Just in case you were curious, I like Jeem's renderings so much that I had him draw up my '59 F100, the way it is going to look. Here is a before photo and a drawing of what it is supposed to look like when it is done.

Thanks for the re-direct AND the kind words Ryan.

The slant cab is being built by a guy on the HAMB who's a good buddy of mine and all around nice guy! It's really getting there, will be a neat daily driver. I'll let him claim it! haha

Another PM. Robert also screwed over the HAMB's own Mike Bishop while creating this site.

Ryan, I think it's highly inappropriate to let this site be promoted here. Robert's a liar, cheat, and a crook. And while Jeem's work is great, I don't think you should allow it be featured in this specific instance.

The Kid, let this thread be about Jeem and stop trying to Hijack and drag it back down to some sort of hateful level. This whole thing is supposed to be an "atta boy" for one of the most talented guys I know with a pencil.

If you want to be hateful, go start your own thread.

I want to publicly profess my love for Jeem - but not in a gay way. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay if that is how you roll.

Whatever you do, DO NOT register on that site. If you do, the crazy **** that runs it will call you personally and keep you on the phone while he blathers incoherently about people he doesn't like. I'm telling you, it was crazy. That guy is mad.

Sorry Jeem. I love your work.

I too had a very strange follow up call after regeristering on benchrace.com. I feel pretty stupid about giving up all of my contact information like that. Especially after talking with some people that I guess were involved in the site at one time. This is all so very strange.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to let his advertisers know?

You can add me to the list of folks who got a call from this guy. In my case he also personally talked trash about some well known HAMB folks by name!

    Pretty ****ty

Good lord, pull the plug on this REJECT thread!

OGNC is a buddy of mine and wanted to send out some public PROPS.
    That's it.

THANKS Court! I appreciate the thought, but......

Norwell is a good buddy of mine as well, and I've heard his issue with Robert and vice versa, I think Jeff and Robert have gotten on with their respective lives, maybe some of you should too.

To the guys out there with the good words....again, THANKS!!!!
