4dr 2dr body length 54 chevy

Is there a difference in length between the 2 door and 4 door? It looks like about a 4-6 inch difference between the beginning of the rear fender to the door gap on the 4 door and maybe 2 on the 2 door. Is that pretty close? Also is that changing the length of the whole body or is the front door just shorter?

Also were all the frames the same for 2 and 4 doors?

 

think the wheel base is 115" 2 door or 4 door..so im going to venture a guess to say the body length is the same..may just look different length due to door placement.



i think the frames were the same too..unless it was a convertable..

 

Frames are exactly the same. Body shells are exactly the same. Floor pan and roof skin are exactly the same.
The 4-door looks longer to you because the front doors are shorter than on a 2-door.
