In the Rikster collection, the last photo shows the wrecked Lincoln that was owned by Barris. Sitting behind it is the Larry Ernst chopped Chevy Belair. It looks like the Ernst car has a bent up front bumper.
I would be curious who, did what, bodywork. Did Barris complete the first edition with the Kaiser taillights, and then Bob Metz do the second version after the owner returned east? When was the car sold to Jim Skonkazis. Did Bob Metz ever work out west for Barris?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

That is the Dan Landon Chev coupe that was being towed by Georges Lincoln, not Larry Ernst's hardtop.

Thanks for the correction. Landon's coupe was a really cool car also. I am envious of some of the Ca history.

According to Jim Skonkazis, Bob Metz did most of the work on both versions. I'm not sure if Bob performed the work at Barris or in his own shop.
Jim did most of the electronic work on the car.

The Sahara was in the Jerry Lewis movie Cinderfella. It was the coach that the "pumpkin" turned into.
