Well, more of a sweet light-custom truck....I've been trying for years now to get my Pop back into this with me. Everytime he comes to Austin (from Seattle) he gets really into the cars and what we're doing here. He finally broke down and told me he was lookin for something. I had my eye on El Bombero's 56 effie. It sits right. Right wheels. Bitchin taillights. I made the call and he went for it. I'm proud to say my father picked up his new baby this morning. Major Thanks to El Bombero. He was courteous, patient, and VERY helpful. He went out of his way to make everything go smoothly. And best of all my Dad has a bitchin old truck again. Here's what he got... Hopefully I'll convince him to drive it to the round up...
I saw that truck for sale last week....loved it and wished I had the $$$ for it but I love F-100s anyway. I drove my buddy's gray 56 to BTT50s a few years ago to sell it for him...it sold. Big block chevy, 400 turbo, camaro sub etc...
nice truck. now you have to get your car going so you can cruise along side him. Im sure he would love that
Looks like the only thing that truck needs is more miles on the odometer. Hope your dad (and you) have many more years on the road. Congrats. Frank
BTT to let everyone know that if you have any dealings with El Bombero, he'll do ya right. Good guy in my book.
I don't know what's cleaner...the truck or the garage...I'll bet your Dad is grinnin' from ear to ear...
