History Think this is the "Worlds first street rod"? Neat video, INTERESTING!!

I was being sarcastic about it being in Ol Skool Rodz and you guys missed it because I know how much everyone hear just LOVES that magazine! (<Again, sarcasm)

 

lol! Cool.. Yeah, I have never read any of the discusions on that rag, but figgured there were plenty. Sorry I misunderstood ya, I'm a bit slow on Sundays.

Wow, what an embarrassing piece of film. The sparking expert battery Harley Mechanic and his buddy with the 1932 Built First street Rod which has an engine from 1934(he called it a "C", Ford never did, I'm asuming he has a dim memory that the "C" engine is the 34 only counterbalanced crank B engine) in it.

I couldn't watch it all since I felt so bad these DEFOS were making such fools of themselves. Money doesn't make you a car guy and motorcycling wrenching doesn't make you an automobile mechnaic.

Maybe I'll watch it again in a few days and won't have to wince so much.

 

We're getting closer, The magazine photos are a bit clearer, but I still can ID the body. Does anyone know what the car is based on? Maybe someone close by could take some photos befor Dale moves the collection out West.

 

Just for farts and giggles ,I would think the first hot rod would have been at the first race . That said i like the old big car that corn grower posted . c

Those two retards look dangerous to me. Seems to me that ether and smoking was what set Richard Prior on fire. If this is supposed to be the first street rod, why did they wait until the fifties to "Z" the frome? If you listen to that commentary closely you will find out just what an idiot this guy is. I think it was Mark Twain that said "Tis better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." I hope the get that car out of there before they blow it up.

 

After watching that video I feel more frustrated than a legless ethiopian watching a donut roll down a hill. WTF? I want that 2 minutes of my life back. A couple of morons trying to get a car running. Stupid fucks. There were much more innovative cars on the racetracks in the 'teens than that thing, and these two idiots drooling over themselves over it. Lame, totally lame. Oh, and fuck speed channel and their stupid boring nascar bullshit.
