WHERE can I BUY a ROLL CAGR KIT this style?

I need to put a bolt in cage in a Vintage Sprint car for Bonnieville. I'll probably end up bending up my own but I'm checking all my options.

I want a "Dragster style" roll cage kit like in Jimmy's car..




But all I'm finding is regular p***enger car style cages.. like this:




Any suggestions? I checked speedway and a few others.

I'm sure they are out there.

You might check with Ch***isworks or Art Morrison. I've bought weld in cages from both of them. A race car cage for a "street roadster" or funny car up grade for doorslammers would probably be close to what you're looking for.

So-Cal sells a bolt in kit.....

 

Ch***isworks too. Just google dragster ch***is several firms offer those kits.

 

Some of the drag race stuff won't meet the specs for Bonneville.

Make sure on the diameter and wall thickness.

 

Also, remember SCTA changed their specs on roll cages in 2008. I saw a few people at SpeedWeek this past August that didn't quite "measure up".

 

Read the rules. Bend your own.

 

I can introduce you to the guy who actually built that cage and it sure as hell wasnt Jimmy Shine, we just did the cage for Kugels roadster and it bolts in, check it out for some ideas
