Ok so I got alot of pm's and response's to the friction shocks at Troy's car show on Sunday. The guy who makes them comes by my shop about once evry few months to show me his latest works.
His name is Chick Mokracek and his number is 818-842-3590. He does not have a web site and as far as I know you can't buy these anywhere but through him. Tell him Lucky from the Old Crow Speed Shop gave you his info. I will see if he can get me some details and prices for the hamb folks....Lucky

Maybe BadBob can post up one of the pictures he took of the shocks at the show....

Looks a lot more cool than the standard shocks. Hmm, maybe I should keep the old lever shocks on my project..........

    WoW! Purty snazzy!

I wanted to use friction shocks on the vintage race cars, that I build, but I was disappointed at the low quality junk in the hot rod catalogs.

I ended up making my own aluminum "jobs", which work great. I have built them for several other guys in different sizes and different mounting configurations without complaint.

Aluminum friction shocks are the way to go.
