UPDATE..... we now have a new eliminator for the street cars ie, no slicks driven hot / street rods, enter test n tune price and run all you want, but we need two scheduled runs for you and the fastest hot rod driven 72' or older will get a hundered bucks........... this will be a car not racing in an index race... also picked up a little more cash so we will have several diff payouts as well...

All the 60's mopars were cool! It was a big turn-out.

The funny story of the day, was McCann's junior fueler and his parachute. First run, pop the chute, it gets all wadded up. Second run, the chute falls out at 1000 feet. Life is a *****...

I have to say, some people are real serious about burn-outs. Cough, cough...

For starting line performance, I have to say that little Bantam altered, was really cool with the wheelstand. That ****er was faster than it looked. I wish I was there to get a photo.

I was driving through Noble, Oklahoma and this terrible noise erupted that sounded like my oil pump eating itself. Turns out I lost a bolt on my front panhard rod! I'm just glad I was going slow, and didn't hit a pot-hole. Anyway, went into the store and stole the strap holding the newspapers together, and tied the rod in place.

Even still, they gave me a nice trophy, so I guess they missed the combat repair, ha.

Thanks to all, as a spectator it was a very enjoyable day!!

I just had lunch with Hooley. Sounds like he had a great day. I guess we will call him Mr. Little Eliminator now. He has had a great year. A new record at Bonneville and some success drag racing with the Henry J.
