ATL car clubs: Are you ready to take on the kings of the hill

So the SFCC challenged the world famous Road Kings to a soapbox derby race. I hope they can collectively get enough weight in huevos to take us on.

I also heard through the grapevine that the Odd Rods have a few cars together. Apparently they need to hedge their bets to win.

Us: We are just building a good old fashioned bad ass soapbox derby car. Just 1! It's been held under wraps since just the sight of it would send lesser car clubs running with their cam shafts between their legs.

We know the Odd Rods are bringing a full nascar style race team to insure they have enought attempts. kinda like bring to friends to afterschool fight at the swingset to me.

We don't know about the RK's. They have been really slow to reply to emails. If fact I never actually got a reply! So did the RK's man up and build a car? Did they decide to take there loss by forfeiting. I hope they did since they came up with the idea of a walk of shame for the losers.

I don't know about y'all but I would rather lose trying, not talkin.

So bring it guy's because the next 12 month 'til the next one is gonna be rough. Don't think that us Jester's will hesitate to call the local kings a bunch of PUHHHHHHHHHH's

oddrods are ready i put this together in two dats for $10 its not much but we will have more than $10 of fun you can bet on that

Bullshit!

 

All video cameras, surveilance equipment, reporters, and Road Kings or Odd Rods spies have been banned from the SFCC Skunkworks test track.
The race is Saturday the 15th.
There are 64 cars entered!
I'm sure there will be plenty of mayhem coverage next Monday

Gotta take them sox boys serious... coasting down hills is all their cars will do. Thats why they hold all the club meetings at the bottom of a hill.......oh and I had a shot of my car in action but it was moving so fast the picture was blury. lets rock

yes its a wheel barrel,yes the shifter is the brakes,yes it took two days to build.yes the front wheel hops at 55MPH

That dont have ceramic bearings. Or 220 PSI 700x18C Time trial tires OR Aero Disc bicycle wheels. they dont have Bladed titanium spokes, alloy nipples, or Double butted 4130 chromoly tubes. I know for a FACT they dont have AVID ULTIMATE hydraulic disc brakes!
