Okay, here's one that will hopefully get some really nice posts. I am underway with my 1950 3100 daily driver project, which will be getting the S10 swap. I had so many plans, but now that I have a better grasp on how much it's going to cost, I've scaled most of it back. I'm going to do this one on a budget, but I am already dreaming on the day when I can build my Dream truck. So pretend that you are going to make an AD daily driver that you will log at least 100 miles a day on, and you hope to own for the rest of your life, and money is not a problem. What would you do.....
I'd do it with the stock frame, MII or dakota front end, TPI sbc with an OD manual or auto, late model rear end and drive the snot out of it. I personally don't like the way S10'sdrive. jerry
