Over 300 cars. Special thanks to Skip Readeo for the seminar, South Shore Street Rods for the NSRA inspections, and all the NESS New England Speed Society members and their wives who worked so hard. The Lions Club received all of the proceeds from the food and it went to their new playground fund. They rose to the occasion and served twice the crowd that was expected. <o></o> The biggest thanks goes to all that came and supported our efforts. You made the show such a great success. <o></o> <o>All web pics will be linked to the autonetnewengland.com</o> web site<o>. </o><o></o>Next year is number TEN and it promises to be even better. "If you build it, they will come." Well Jack, you built it over the past nine years and they are coming. Perfect way to end the season. Thanks for all the effort you put into making this a premier event. Come on October '09!!!
Jack, Thanks for another fantastic Gathering. I've been going since the early Washburn Park days and have watched it grow every year. I really wasn't sure how things would work out in the open field in Rochester and to be honest I was a little skepticle, but it turned out that everything just clicked. I wish I could have stayed longer at the event cause I was having a blast, but I ended up staying longer than planned and ended up being late to where I was supposed to be...oh well! Thanks also for letting me haul my drag boat in and thanks especially for a great event! I'm looking forward to another great day next year. Thanks, Keith
I have the massachusetts, hamb and we are still talking about your meet. Yesterday i told a member how to find some pictures from the meet.
Can we call it "The Gathering of the Frozen" next year? For those far away that couldn't make it - IT WAS COOOOLD! I don't think it got above 50, cloudy, and windy all day. These photos were taken by P.H. Thanks to him for sending me a copy, they all came out great! The two posted are of my "poor mans rajo" aka "Green Thunderbolt" on my website. The Home Depot plumbing is there as a temporary solution to a frozen intake manifold. See you all next year!
