It's been plenty cold at night. Take warm stuff to wear. I have been to the November meet when it Snowed and it stuck in the boonie bushes. 12 degrees is very cool for sleeping out.
Well, I won't be sleeping out, I'm staying with a friend in Glendale. But two of the guys that are coming with me want to sleep out. Looks like I 'll be driving my Hotrod, keep an eye out for it and say Hi when you see me. It's always good to meet a HAMBer.
Glendale aint real close to El Mirage?? You guys might want to try to rent an RV (there goin real cheap now due to the economy) , and make a weekend out of it. Thats what im doin
El Mirage is about 85 miles from my buddies house, that ain't so bad. We'll be there on Saturday and Sunday.
Cool, we'll be there. We normally park to the right of the main road that parrelles the corse in an RV flyin a Georgia state flag. Stop by and say hey!
I'll come by and say hi, the friend I'm staying with and his neighbor, Jerry, are both Sidewinders also. As far as I know Jerry will be bringing his Buick Straight 8 powered Roadster to run on that week end. He just set a record in Bonneville in August with that car.
A few of us Lifter's from so cal will be there. We'll be set up somewhere track side I am sure. Stop on by and say hi. I think we are spreading a few ashes from of a club member out there. Who passed away a few months ago. We are just spectating and having a few Silver Bullets.

Well, looks like there will be a few HAMBers there. I'll try to come by and meet all of ya!! I'll be taking off from San Jose on Friday at about 10am and will be out on the track on Saturday.
Me and a buddy are driving out there tonight,not taking the race car though,the new short block isnt finished yet,we'll just be helpin out and servin up 16oz cans of coors from the mountains Johnny are yer bringin the roadster pick-up? No, at this point it looks like I will be driving a rental, all the other guys I was going to drive down with have flaked on me. Just one buddy is coming along and his hotrod is not running at the moment.
