that was awesome! those wrx's are very respectable cars.

 

That's the Marine Corp Air Station El Toro. Now decommissioned and waiting to become housing and "The Great Park" and the subject of great debate and controversy. The SCCA holds Solo races there and many car companies rent it for commercials.

 

That cat is super bad, awesome skills. I really enjoyed this flick, thanks for posting, and the sound is way cool!! Not traditional car stuff. but very appealing to a real motorhead!!~Sololobo~

 

Man, that was impressive, both car and driver. Talk about complete control, and made it all look so easy! That turn around that single pin couldn't have gotten any tighter. My son was diggin' it too!

 

Words escape me when trying to explain how impressive his driving skills are............just....wow

Think that is tough, try doing that with a 3/4 ton chevy loaded with 6 sacks of cattle cubes, a hay bale spike, and the need to make sure that all 37 head of cattle are present----trying to get to your "sure thing, lucky" date on a friday night.

Oh...yes, you do have to cut and pull the nylon strings out of the round bales too.

That's how my wife drives to and around the parking lots during those "day after thanksgiving" sales...

One of my buddies has a WRX... fun little car... he won't let me drive it after the "last time"

from 2000-2002 i was employed at a Subaru dealership....when the then new WRX was intoduced to the states,the shipped us all out to Phoenix for a 3 day crash course that included a full day at Phoenix international speedway...4 courses set up with hands on....3 of the courses we drove the car around the track with a pro in the pass seat...the 4the course had us sitting shot gun with a driver from british procar rally subaru team driver!

i have been in many fast cars in my life,,but being in the passanger in that WRX is in my top 3 wildest experiences..

that video is totally unreal!!!!!!!

 

INSANE....no other words..except asking my brothers girlfriend for her 08's keys..hahahahaha

 

It sounds to me like you gys dont watch too much FIA rally. He's a great driver, but there are a bunch of europeans that would hand him his butt. Ya'll should google some rally vids.

Personally, It's my favorite motorized sport, side ways between trees in the dirt at 120MPH, I dont think it gets any more dangerous...Isle of man tt is a close second though.

MY good friend and roomate from college works for ken's team. The company's name is Vermont sports car. He had the car hauler and Travis pastrana's car at my shop a few months ago that won the x games this year.Really neat team and sport over all.

 

Oh yeah, Ive seen Ken and travis doing battle in the US rallies. Even giving Mcrea a run for his money. Good stuff.

I would love to ride shotgun with that guy at a Corvette car show just to see if the Corvette owners could go around the curves on the bodies of their Vettes that fast with a California car duster to get the dust off of them after he left. Awesome post, what a driver!
