I collect 1/64 scale diecast cars, and anything connected with Batman movies and comics.

Actually, I like anything midcentury modern. I have a few glass vases and some furniture. My ex-wife ran off with most of it though.:(

I used to collect old computers and video game consoles: Atari 2600, NES, Apple II's, Commodore64's, Tandy's, etc. Also got boxes and boxes of Star Wars stuff. Yeah, I'm a geek.

Collect and WEAR mens 40's -50's vintage clothing. Mostly the higher end stuff . Gabardine , leather jackets , hawaiians. flight jackets

The stuff that looks like it was either worn by R&B and early Rock"N Roll folks down on Beale St. (memphis) The louder the better.

Some of my stuff I have downsized I just have about 2 dozen or so gab jackets and have started collecting more military flight jackets. I had to stop it got in the way of getting hotrod parts .......

But anyway here are some pics of some jackets and shoes and some WW2 flight jackets.

I would love to get my hands on a Vic 20, same with the Altair 8800, but I can never find them, or when I do they're way too expensive.

I used to collect pre-1900 light bulbs, but moved on and sold the collection. I had an 1880 Edison copper clamp lamp, and an 1880 No1B socket with brass turn screw switch, amongst many other very early lamps from Westinghouse, Sawyer-man, Maxim, Bernstein, Thompson, Houston, Perkins, Packard, etc. I was also good friends with the late Dr. Hugh Hicks.

Geez, by the look of my shop, you'd think I was a collector of some sort, but as you get closer, you'd realize I'm the Son in Sanford and Son.

I collect every old nut and bolt I've taken off, every bit of scrap metal that might be used as a gusset somewhere, every short piece of rod left over because it might come in handy to plug a hole and anything else that "might come in handy someday".

Oh wait, this wasn't a packrat thread, was it?

Maybe one of the watch collectors (there seem to be several that have posted) can lead me towards dating this watch. I just inherited this Tiffany watch, it was my great grandmothers. Im sure most of you collect mainly mens watches, but I'd love to find out more on this piece. Unfortunately, the crystal is very scratched up, and Im sure this is not one thats easily replaced, if it can be done at all, because of its shape.

Thanks! I figured out how to open it, here is the inside of the watch, and it appears to work!

I have a pretty good collection of pre-war pressed steel toys. Wyandotte mostly, with some Marx and a few cast pieces tossed in. no pics.. they are from the pre-digital days.

I had a pretty good collection of turn of the century quack medicines with the full bottle and the box and some times a little flyer in there too. cool stuff.. I like the artwork and lettering style these had.

here's a few pics of my 49 Chevrolet stuff. I got a bunch more. this is all I could fit under the light.

Thanks for the info. The stones are very brilliant, and I have not had it cleaned. I cannot find any markings anywhere to tell me what the metal is. I think I should have Tiffany appraise it, I would think its worth enough to insure it.
