I've spent some time in the garage lately mostly making a mess and hurting myself. I have accomplished a little though. I made the fuel tank for the coupe and instead of black I've decided to make it look like a copper tank and painted it with Rustoleum hammertone copper. I also flipped the firewall. I split the firewall at the horizontal reveal and left it in place and I cut out the center section with the reveal and left it facing forward. I flipped the sides and filled in where it needed it . I still have some metal finishing to do but you see where I'm at.
I really like the idea of the Coppertone color, I hope you don't mind if I borrow the idea. I was just going to leave mine bare ss, but the color looks much better.
Yes! Ive been looking for a long time at recessed walls and havent found any that I liked the looks of except for yours. Looks great man, thanks for the idea.
