Back in the day(70's)we used to put lift kits between the spindle and the upper ball joint on our chevy's. Then we would put spring stools under the spring. That would raise the car up about 4"......can anybody tell me where you can buy this stuff now

    Thanks,
    Posey

I had a pair of those on my 283 Falcon back then, the front wheels would almost touch when the car rose up, 'cause the geometry was so bad. probably one of those things better left in the past, and also a reason the're not available anymore. Remember we almost lost the car off the lift getting them on. Sure looked cool though, and cheaper than a straight axle for a college kid.

Never had any front end problems when I used them.....ran them on a big block chevelle and a nova back in the 70's. I drove those cars every day....rain or snow! Must have been an installation problem or operator error:eek:
