Customs What would be the right size tire and whitewall for a 1947 Packard Clipper?

    I think the stock size was 7.00X16 with a 3.5 or 4 inch white wall. Our '39 Lincoln Zephyr and a friends '40 Packard 120 use the same size.

    6 cylinder cars had 6.50x15

    7 p***enger cars had 7.50x16

    all other 8 cylinder cars had 7.00x15

    Most 46 and 47 cars were delivered with blackwalls- Coker can set you up with period correct www widths.
