Event Coverage PHOTOS: Industrial Chassis PARTY in SCOTTSDALE!!!!!!!

The crew at Industrial Chassis hosted yet another Saturday night party during the Goodguys weekend in Scottsdale. Fabrication demonstrations, food and music.

I always enjoy their get together. The people who go are all very cool - no attitudes, no "cooler than you" guys - just a bunch of car guys an gals hanging out shooting the shit.

I brought my camera and ended up screwing around a little with some long exposure stuff using a cardboard box from the trash for a tripod.

Man Kirk! I really dig those long exposures of the roadster!! Those would make some great computer backgrounds!!!

 

Over the winter I'll be working on a tripod and a D90. It shoots video - WATCH OUT!

I got there kinda late... or maybe you guys just left early! Either way, Steve's party was fun as hell! Good music, cold beer, barely legal burnout contest (tm)... and learning just how far poor Mike's vintage Schwinn "Orange Crate" Stingray could launch a dude after high-siding were all priceless!!!

The "UFO" pics of Craig's car turned out RAD! I drove up and saw you, hemi, hotrod ron, and Craig all running and twirling with those lights and thought I was at some sort of a damn rave! Haha!

Anyway, thanks for posting the pics man... that shit was FUN!

Nice pics as usual Kirk. Thanks. Is it my imagination, or are you also getting better at the pics? They seem to be jumping up in quality. Not just the tech. or camera, but the other "artist" aspects as well. Might just be my imagination, but you seem to be up-ing the bar a little recently.

Those night shots are cool, but this one is my favorite.

craigs roadster is amazing, the wheels are a chrome steel wheel I can not remember what brand, all four were NOS in boxes.
