They're still out there!!!!

Just when you think you know where everything is along comes your dream car.This car was 2 blocks from my garage.I drove past it for 10 years never knowing there was a car in there.The garage door was blocked by a swimming pool for as long as I can remember.My friend's brother- in- law told him about the car.He called me ,we got in touch with the owner's friend and made a deal with the owner.It was put there in 1973 and never saw the light of day until one week ago!Don't give up they're still out there.

I was just getting home from work yesterday afternoon and a rollback p***es my house with a '56 Corvette. I follow it down the street and talk to the driver. He said he had just picked it up and was on my street to tow another vehicle. Offered to sell it on the spot for $25,000. Now I don't know Corvettes that well, but the price seemed about right to me. From what I could see it was 90% complete, covered in dust. The driver told me it was sitting for 20 years and only about 5 miles from my house. So on the way home I'm thinking if he would sell it for $25,000 then he has less than that in it. Oh yea, he said the owner "just wanted to get rid of it". I wish I had my camera.
