cheapest chrome reversed wheel

    who has the cheapest chrome reversed wheel? I'm looking for 15x5 and 15x8, 5-4 3/4. Vintques Wheel has em for around $100. each. ouch

    Americans were in the 70 to 80 dollar range last time I looked. That's with the baby moons.

    I went to my neighborhood tire store (chain called Allen Tires). I paid like 40 bucks a pop for the unilug chromies without caps.

    JEGS mailorder out of cols oh has crager smothies for about 260 a set. i just bought 4 last mounth and got 2 15x6 nad 2 15x7.they are dual bolt patern and have a smoth cap. even look cool with out a cap

    Assuming you're going for the OEM-style with single bolt pattern, that's about the best price I could find. Try Pete Paulson or Stockton Wheels, but they were all the same last I checked.

    The dual-pattern 'smoothies' are cheaper, and probably what the other guys are quoting prices from. They can look OK if you run a hubcap.

    Tip: try to find a show where one of the wheel manufacturers will have a booth. If you pay for the wheels at the show they'll do usually free shipping, and if they're in a good mood they'll give you a 'show special'. Bring cash.

    summit has the vintiques 15 x 8 71.00 and 15 x 5 for 65.00 and free shipping. baby moon caps come free. I was checking on the same wheels today.

    I don't know about cheap, but Chuck at "Taylor Made wheels" in South Gate , CA. Builds true to the era O.E. chrome reverse wheels with Buick or Cadillac 7" wide reversed outers.

    He and his brother have been building steel wheel for 30 + years, they do alot of Salt Flat stuff.

    But don't be in any hurry cause he's slow, but he does great work. He's building my for my '54 Ford. KK
