Where can i buy a block check gadget??

you know..the little deal you stick in the radiator neck to check for combustion g***es in the cooling system...

any ideas?

google search gimmie nothing.

The ones that I have used require a liquid that will change colors if there are hydrocarbons present.

 

The one Napa carries is the one you want. It comes with the bottle of blue liquid that turns yellow if it absorbs any combustion gas.
We get ours from our local Napa shop here in Saint Paul. They always have it on the shelf.

It should look like any of these.You will need the liquid also.They are called Combustion Leak Testers. Also you will want to have the fluid in the radiator down just a bit so you dont **** the coolant out of tha radiator when you pump the sniffer.
