I am trying to wire up an aftermarket AC/Heater unit in my 49 chevy. The wires in my Rebel Wire 20 circuit panel are 14 ga for the heater fan and the AC compressor. I want to hook it up with a disconnect rather than **** splicing the wires together but the only disconnects I find have light 18-22 ga wire for using on trailer lights. What can I use to make this work?

whatever yiou do don't cheat and use smaller than 14 ga....bullets sound good to me, is the problem you just can't find any connectors locally that will fit to get it running tonight? Can you just ****splice it till you can order the correct connectors?

They also make spade connectors in 14-16 size. You should be able to find these at any hardware or auto parts store. Get the ones with the plastic covers over the end of the terminal.
