Wisconsin winter has come early. Today it's 28 degrees with flurries. So my brother Chris decided he will take out his new project. A 60 Caddy Convert.... Enjoy

You're making my heart ache. My dad's favorite of all his cars was a 61 cad convertible, my brother totaled it. I always promised him I would get him another one, but I never got the chance before he passed away. Someday I'll get one in his memory. His was white, red interior, black rag top, God it was sweet!

Beautiful car, its funny how that works when I first got my motorcycle the first year I rode in 30 degree weather and didn't seem to get cold. Now when it hits about 50 degrees there is no way I'm going to ride it. I think it was the adrenalin!

Ooohhhh. THAT is nice. You should warn people first though. I now need to change my shorts and smoke a cig after seeing that. That is one of my favorite year caddy's. I like the 53 & 7 too...

The tips grew on me, its my first 60s car, and I wanted to add a diffrent touch. They sound really cool also.

Sounds pretty chilly up there. I should probably stop whining when it gets down in the 50's here. Like the car, though. I don't really like the tips though, they ride a little low for my taste.

    Awesome car, though.

  26. I bet he didn't drive it today...

Looks nice, kinda wanna touch the it...

John, this cold & snow is nothing for you.
I bet you are walkin the streets of Chi-Town rockin those damn sandels & a pair of Daisy Duke style jean shorts in this weather! You need some lotion on those ashy knees of yours playboy!
    Stay strong Bronco.
    Love,
    Carl

  30. I like it. A lot. The tips grew on me after a while...hope they don't get too rashed up though, because I think the damage would stick out like a sore thumb.

I dig the color, too...a bit of flash, but not gaudy. What paint is it?
