Very nice work. Make sure you figure out how to heat it before your first ride.

"Make sure you figure out how to heat it before your first ride." The lake header im building is going to mount directly under it, I think heating shouldnt be a big problem.

Rust neutralizer? Sounds kinda***** to me..Of course, you ARE the type to actually replace the head gasket on an engine that's been sitting in a tweekers' garage for 30 years..

I guess if the exhaust and intake are on the same side, heat is less of an issue. Mine are on opposite sides of the engine, and without adding heat the intake makes ice cubes.

    Your design looks good.
I have built many one and two carb setups for model B's.
My single's were similar to your's.
The two's used two single throats carbs from a Ford 6.
No heat was required and the performance was excellent.

I don't have the header any more but I still have the head pipe with
the lakes plug and muffler bypass..No pic of that right now.
I'm only an hour and a half from you, stop by sometime. (Elbe)

I thought you might want to see this. You may need to do something similar later on.

You have a good design there, maybe you should reproduce and sell them.

here's a pic of one I made for my champ style car, Its a one piece header/intake. I couldn't put a riser like yours on it due to body/cowl constrictions (hope it works?) but it's just a recreation for shows and such, not a driver ect.
