That's the stuff you see in California when it cracks off the mainland and floats off into the sea! :D

Seriously, if I saw that coupe in our weather, I would say WTF?!?! as I turned my head to watch you go past, then promptly skid into a telephone pole...

We got a decent snow this moring and the main road was shut down due to accidents.....so I had to cut though the woods on logging roads and state gameland roads....it was an interesting drive to work.

You should have seen the expressions of people faces when I drove my old truck out of the woods.

  12. Very nice coupe, you need to relocate somewhere that you can drive it all year around. I don't know if I could "put my cars away" for 4 or 5 months of the year. What a bummer.

I lied, I took mine to car club meeting lastnight, mid 20's with no top or heat made for a cold *** ride down the thruway. On a side note it felt good to hear it rumbling along and being pressed back into the seat. Lots of looky lous and horn honks, but I was to frozen in place to respond...lol

  15. No snow here yet. I dig driving in the snow. The Tudor will be 4 season roadworthy when I get it done.

I somehow missed this thread.. Good to see you made it home Mike. I put the '32 and the wife's '37 away for the winter a couple of weeks ago. It ****s to be without your toys for a few months but it's the price you pay for living in this Godforsaken frozen trundra. Remember, you said you fell in love with this part of the country when you first came out here. Anything to change your mind about leaving California?
Anyway, it looks like we'll be driving civilian cars when we have lunch someday soon, right? I'll be checking with you soon for a lunch date. Stay warm.

I still love it Frank. 40+ years in Calif was enough for me. I appreciate my car so much in April that its almost like getting a new car every year!I do still miss the mountains and deserts but the benefits far out way the winter for me, I think I shall stay. Hope to do that lunch soon.

That is a really sweet ride! Love it. I don't miss the snow at all. After 5 years in South Dakota and 3 years in upstate NY.....no thanks.
