There are some excellent eaxmples of Tudors A frames here. I actually like a Tudor on TOP of an A frame. It looks really "believable". A "strip the fenders & go" mentality.

I'm over the 24" Z, belly draggin', lot lizards that seem to have become so popular.

This one was built in '69. Small town boys building with what they had. It really wasn't that unusual here on the east coast in those days.

  7. I am not a Ford guy, but I do like the look of the tudor, so I decided to find a Chevy sedan, and I too want a way cool look with the back seat for my boys to ride in. I have made it a little further than this pic shows, but mine is chopped 6.5 inches, and channelled 3, the frame is stepped 4, and I have plenty of room for someone 6 foot to 6.6 to ride in the back! One of the keys that I found, was the seat combination. I am using ( I know I hate to say it) 66 mustang front seats and a 66 nova rear seat. The frame step is narrowed, so that the seat will sit flat on the floor, and the way that the frame is stepped, it begins right at the front edge of the seat, so that you get the step for your leg room. I will send some ch***is pics soon, but hear is the outside look for now. Hollywood

    Perfect. :)

Why go extreme with the "z"s and such.

Extreme projects tend to be lost in interest.
