Thanks, that was something interesting to break up a long and boring morning at work.

    Nice photo work.

Great images and the music fits. I've enjoyed his music for many years,
did not realize he was a gear head....

  5. Wow that was cool, well except for maybe the yellow sunglasses. LOL
I really like the photo of the dog watching the car pass (that should be a poster)
Ry Cooder has been a legend for many years, think I'm going to go find a rare old album I have of Ry Cooder with the Rolling Stones.
    Thanks for posting

  6. Nicely done....

Yes he indeed does, and doesn't get the recognition he deserves !

Anyone on here know what movie used his music through out the entire film ?

I listen to him all the time & never new about the auto interests either. Little Sister is one of my favorites.

I had no idea this was going to be such a big deal in the NY times. Ry and I have a mutual friend, and he had heard that we were going out to El Mirage before Bonneville and test run the new motor, and he asked if he could tag along with a photoghrapher. Had I known, I would have shaved. LOL

Yeah, if you haven't heard it, you need to check out his current CD, "I, Flathead." It's kind of a concept album about hot rods, dry lakes racing and country music, '50s So-Cal style. Get the limited edition if you can, it comes with a pretty entertaining book as well.

another move that used a bunch of his music was "Crossroads" and the good music in "Streets of Fire" was all from him and the Blasters.

Loved his licks in both movies, listen to him a lot in the shop. Keith

That is cool. Very nice piece. I love the still slide show concept. Hands down beats typical cheesy video crap.
