Tried this before.....got off the subject.....got deleted,with good reason. There are quite a few knob posts this time around, I was thinking I could do a "how to" on making your own column or floor shifter knob, for those who want to have something that is unique, or maybe just learn to work with polymer clay in order to make up something else...after all, you can take whatever you sculpt and cast it in either resin or metal( with some extra steps), so it doesn't have to be only a cosmetic or novelty item.... This will take PHOTOS...a few,in fact.... The VOTE is to determine interest before just throwing stuff on here..... Worth the space...or pass?

I'm not a big fan of fancy shift knobs myself (I like BALLS! )... ...but I think such a tech post would be way cool, and LOTS of HAMBers would dig seein' it too...whether they vote or not, I'm sure!!!

So I go work on something for awhile, come back and find that HankCash has made reference to my wife's WEDDING TACKLE once again..... Okay...sounds like there might be something to share that will be worth the space...There will also be a couple of you that will see the real purpose of this tech, which is actually a thinly-veiled excuse to finish off some overdue projects.....either way, thanks for the interest...let me outline a rough sequence and I'll get things rolling here...
