I'm the wife of newbie ReitzRods. Helped him register last night, was surfing the site today, and decided I had to join and support my fellow female motorheads. We have a 1935 Ford Coupe 5-window with a SB Chevy-built Ford tough with Chevy stuff; 1927 roadster early stages project car; several motors-350 SB Chevy, 350 SB Chevy bored 30 over, Ford Flathead, Ford 351 Windsor, 327 SB Chevy w/ powerglide, and just adopted a baby Hemi (276 1953 Desoto) last weekend. Spent HOURS on the web researching everything I could. If I'm not in the garage actually working on one, I'm on the web researching them. I enjoy spending time w/ my motorhead husband and our furry daughter, Myeisha (6 yr old Newfoundland), and researching alternative medicine. Looking forward to learning more about our new Hemi and connecting with other female motorheads! :)

Thanks. My husband so TOTALLY unleashed my inner motorhead all those years ago. I'd much rather talk cars and motors than pretty much anything else.

Sorry. Guess today you're the bug. LOL Hemi is going in the 27 roadster. They're lightweight to begin with, so the baby 276 Hemi should be enough. Especially if we manage to get ahold of a 4 barrel intake for it. I'd like to swap the 351 Windsor (bored 30 over and pretty much all rebuilt) for the one in the dump truck, but Hubbie says the dump truck works just fine as is. Yeah, a little overkill, but it would sure sound nice. I had wanted to drop my 327 into a 1930 Buick Marquette, but his buddies talked him out of buying it. I agreed at the time, but lately have been wishing we'd bought it.
