Happy Days Cruise Night ***PICS***

Headed to our local cruise here in San Jose tonight, met Yorgatron there, he had the Hudson...so, here's the Old's Engine that was installed in 1955?

 

48 De Soto, the guy just bought it a couple of weeks ago....Paid $3000

Had to walk away when he said, I'm not gonna spend any more than $15,000 on this one.......... I'm like....$1500 maybe!!

55 Packard, just bought locally, was up for $4500 I seem to recall. One owner car from new.....

I remember seeing it last year at the Strangers BBQ (I think) and it was just flat black.

thanks for the picture Dave!that guy with the Desoto was a goof! me and Dave kept looking at each other like "is this guy for real?" he wants to rechrome all the bumpers and repaint the car and generally throw money at it even though it's in great shape.he was complaining about the high price of musclecars,but i think he's one of those guys that can't leave well enough alone.i'll be there next week i think,still some san jose hambers i haven't met yet.BTW the Hudson belongs to my brother Jake.
