Another brake parts Q for the counter guys

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Stevie G, Nov 22, 2008.

  1. Well the 10x2 (10 x 1.75) drums on the back of the 'Cuda are to thin to be turned and as usual, nothing is showing up in the parts books. If I had switched over to the 4.5 bolt circle I'd be set. this 4.00 B.C. stuff is all listed as 9" for the rear.

Now why would the parts be listed 20 years ago and then disappear?
Too many Honda parts too have to list right?

Anyway, can anyone help out with an old catalog or a part number off the top of your head?

'87 Raybestoes catalog shows # 2931 10X1-3/4 brake 5 on 4. Found this listing under Duster etc. with disk front brakes.

  3. You know, Duster is the one I didn't look at. I figured Dart should have worked.
    Thank you!

I think those drums have been out of production for a long long time....maybe they're being repopped now?
wife's 70 dart has them...interesting, there was some option that you could get on early 70s A bodies that would get you front disk and large rear brakes on the 4" bolt circle, and it was available with the 6 cyl engine.

But yeah, try darts and dusters and valiants from 67-72 or so.

My Catalog lists 2931 as 5 on 4 1/2 . No guarantees, check and double check.
    My 1971 Napa catalog does list a 10 3/4 5 on 4 bolt pattern.
