found a set at a yard sale with 2.02 intake valves are they worth anything? i dont have a sbc so it would be just to buy then sell
Depends on casting number (look on valley side of intake runner, three digit number) usually will bring 100 bucks a pair at swap meet.
If you want early heads for a detailed traditional install, sure. Performance wise, their time has passed. For what it costs to build up a set, you can buy several new options with better potential.
depends on what they are casting wise,,set ya im check out the link...humper heads can be good money heads, just not a big deal i think here on the Hamb...too many sbc hate'ers....
factory 2.02's? screw in studs or push rod guide plates? see what they came off of. LT-1's and DZ 302's had em, as did other high performance 60's cars. could be worth something to the right restorer.
ran the numbers, are these of any value? 3890462....66-67...302/327/350..Camel hump,no accessory holes,64cc chamber</pre>
I sold my last set of 462s for $350 at a swap meet, but the guy was trying to build a numbers matching motor....had I known that in the beginning nmight have been able to squeeze another $100 outta him, LOL.
