White walls or Hoosies, cant decide, including pics

Hey all.
Im tryna make up my mind about which wheels and tyres to run on the back of my 30' coupe. As it stands i have a set of Hoosier quick times on 15x12 steelies, with the chrome trim and hubcaps. I also have a pair of diamondback 'Drag Radials' with the 3 1/2 white wall. No wheels for these.

On the front will be the 165/80r15 double white walls on 15x5's as pictured.

It happened this way because i bought the WWW tyres over from the US before i had a full set of wheels, then when the 15x5's and 15x12's came up at a good price i grabed them.

This got me thinking how cool it would be to run some big nasty fats on the back (got to love the hoosier lettering). As luck would have it a new and cheap pair came up..

So now i have to make up my mind. i could grab 15x8's for the ww's with the right offset and be able to change the wheels over as i feel like it. I could get rid of one pair all together. Decisions

Here are pics of my wheels and tyres plus a quick photoshop i did to see roughly what the Hoosiers might look like.

Does anyone have a pic of the diamondback Drag radial WW on a car or a set of hoosies on a really low coupe?

What do you think of these tyres? i know most of you wouldnt run radials on your own cars.

I won't bash you for the radials...but I'd put on a helmet...

I know you all love WW's and so do i, but dont you think the hoosies look bad *** on that sedan?

Also do you think the radials will be unsafe? i was under the impression they ran straighter and smoother. Thats why i initialy went that way.
Dont you think the 'Drag Radials' look a bit gay? i got them coz they look more like Plys' but i duno.

Those radials look cool in a weird way. A 2x4 nailhead should be able to break them loose.

They aren't "uncool" they just don't belong on a traditional car, more a 70s or even 80s thing. Narrower black walls would also look good.

Seriously... WTF? The fat *** tires look like gumballs and the rear is already too low, (in my opinion)... that wide of a tire on the outside of the body makes it, what, 8 feet wide?

I like the Hoosiers myself.

(Especially those trick ones with the backwards lettering!!)

EVERYBODY runs wide whites...break the mold!!

 

I'm partial to the wide white walls....if you want different look I would suggest keep it skinny blackwalls with the type build you have.

At a guesstamate it would come to 6' 8" which i know is huge!

Im glad there is a little backing for the (backward) Hoosies, mainly since i spent the money allready

The 15x12's have about 5" backspacing, so.. i'm thinking mabie if i got 15x8's for the Whites with mabie a 4" bckspace, i could change them as i felt like it. or at least i could setup my rearend and decide later once the cars slighty more built.

Apreciate all your opinions.

Ps, lets say i ran the whites or the fats, what would be a good spacing between the body and the inside of the tyre?

the quick times make it look like its ready to eat the track. Camaro guys will beat off to them, but for asthetics, id go white walls.
