I can't believe how e-z this is. I made patterns for my uber-koole wife to pleat. I made my own arm rests, dash pad, package shelf, and other what-nots fer the Belly Flop '65 Caddy Coupe De Ville. I'll post some pics when I'm more sober and able to do so. Basically, I cut to shape some suedelike material, pleated and covered some major interior peices. The dash, pkg shelf and armrests kick ***. I have to get my wife to finish the pleats and maybe some other shtuff while she's at it. I'm gonna put a stereo ( I work in the ghetto, afterall) in it so the pkg shelf hasd to have some 6x9's in it. I also have some Bose powered subs from late model 'Vettes to make work. I never had a fance music maker in my rides. I"ll make it look right and work like it's 'spozed too. Sheesh, I need another beer.....
Hey man go crazy with it and integrate the subs into panels in the trunk! Line that thing with some peel n stick for better performance and less rattling hopefully, put it(them) in a ported box for some more kick, or ?!? Get nuts with it, and think about that ipod direct to the amp tech that was posted earlier! I'm gonna do it with parts ripped outta another car I had...now I just gotta get some components for the front! What I'd really like to do , to tie this into traditional, is gut a stock radio and make it functional to the stereo somehow, maybe just use it to turn on the amp and a light or something?!? What I'm saying is go nuts with it! Oh and your interior sounds kick ***, thats really cool you got the skillz to pull that off!
