  1. so i finished this truck and those chupacabras told me to post some shots. i started on this one at the beginning of june. it's not traditional by any means and is definately way over the top, but my customer loved it!
it won best of show/truck, first in class, and best interior at "texas heat wave" so we're pretty stoked too.

it does, however, show you just some of the possibilities that can be achieved with fiberglass

i think guys like roth would appreciate it, it's out there like some of his creations.
oh, and before you ask, the seats aren't that uncomfortable

yeah... I saw this in person Wed evening...
It is, as Matt stated by no means traditional, but the craftsmanship that he put into this thing is INSANE!!!!!

After looking at it for a few minutes and thinking about your car... your mind will start to race and think of all the possibilites of wood and fiberglass!!!

You can't see from the pic's, but the amps are mounted in the center console and they are surrounded by water that has bubbles running through it....

Between this and fatlucky's posts, we can see the extreme right and left sides of the interior spectrum... [IMG]

    Good job Matt!

    Shades of "Alien".

    I'm assuming it's a "SHOW" truk...not to be driven.

A bit over the top for me and practicality being one of the things I like...however, I'd like to see it in person...looks like it's very well done...

    Matt-

Did you take install pics of the purple beast stereo???

These guys would love to see how you built a wonderfully "hidden" modern head unit into a 50's car...

The dash and everything still looked stock...and it sounded INCREDIBLE!

Vary strong Kustomscaraudio. Could you give us a brief run down of your process. Do you use clay, plaster, carve wood, RTV or what? As we used to say It's the Tits. Lets see some more. Pogo!

  21. I GO, evrything in the truck is MDF ( medium density fiberboard ) and fiberglass.
i'm putting together a tech post ,but starphoto is so f'n slow that it will take me forever to post the pics. it's really an easy process, but you gotta do a ton of sanding [IMG]

You guys should see it in person, those photos do that interior no justice. The craftsmanship is over the top. And the way that everything flows together it looks like it is one large cast piece. I must have looked st that interior for a half-hour trying to spot mounting hardware, wires, anything and they are so expertly hidden that it is amazing that any of that stuff is actually hooked up. Top notch job!
