Any known fix for a broken capillary tube on a mechanical Stewart warner temp gauge where the sender screws into the engine?
Capilary tubes can be replaced. I send them to a instrument repair shop like Nisonger Instrument in NY. They also will make them to a custom length. Try google for a shop closer to you. Craig
There was a hamb thread on this subject and Tom C has done one based on the thread read. You buy a new gauge freeze it in the deep freeze and install it on the old gauge. We can get El Tomo to give us a lesson sat morning........
