    Interesting place.

    Moreso for adults than kids, but thats true anywhere.

    Helluva hot rod presence here.
    Every few weeks I see one I hadn't seen before.
    Usually running around town during the week....

    Right across from where Airfield hits Andy Devine there used to be a Texaco gas station that still had the old globe style pumps and right next to it, to the south, was a greasy little radiator shop called Shasteens Auto. That was my uncles shop when I was a kid. I sat in there and watched them build some great old Chevies when I was about 6-12 years old. I remember a pair of 55 bel air's, a 57 pickup, a 54 bel air, and a 5-window coupe that we pulled the body out of the desert near Oatman. I cored my first radiator in that shop when I was about nine. That was right on Route 66.
