stumbled across this junkyard 30 min from my house.......this was my first time there, its been in business since the 50s......thought you might enjoy...............
Looks like a good place. What part of Indiana do you live in? I'm down south, in Seymour. Did you happen to see any ramblers or AMC's?
american hellbilly that yard is in frankfurt......i only saw about 1/4 of whats there they closed at 5 we only had a few min to look...we wanna go back on a saturday and scour the place..he might have an amc or rambler..
Yeah, I'm wondering how any 34 Ford (even a 4 dr Sedan) is sitting in a wrecking yard. Must want too much $$$ for it?
rightfully so, look how much money he has invested in it over the years haha I see a 60 elcamino too, cool yard
...if you go back, get more pics and some idea on prices so we can all help save some of this "junk".....how big of yard?...how many cars?...will he sell whole cars? thanks for postin...
The name of the yard is Castle's auto parts, the head honcho there is Jay. His brother is also there, Chris. I was there this morning, looking for an s-10 ch***is. I have been hanging out there for years. The cars that you had picts of can be bought, but don't expect any bargains. the 4-door merc setting there has been there for 30 years +. I was told it was allmost perfect when it was parked. I don't think you will find any amc stuff in there, s**** prices versus sellable parts. you know the story. any way, Jay has sold some of the old stuff that was in there, but he knows what he has. dirt bag where you from. I live on the other end of town from this yard. allways looking for some one to shoot the bull with or swap parts etc.
thats the place next to the water tower. i've drove around it once when they where closed but from what i could see they had some good stuff. i still need to go out there and look around when they are open.
