OK, I'll play, nothing fancy here, just a simple oil filter bracket for a 235 chevy. BTW, I'm lovin' this thread.

Here's a couple of bed and cab adapter brackets bigtumtum made for his A.D. Chevy and posted in the Definitive S-10 Thread, which is at this link: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=274702

Granted, they're for An A.D., but they're easily modifiable to mount about anything you wanted to said chassis.

I made all of these by drawing the parts in a free cad program called Emachine Shop. The company that provides it uses it to sell simple parts made to order in quantity. Lucky for me, it will export standard .dxf files that I give to my local CNC plasma cutting guru. I would tell anyone to go play with this program for a while. They'll get hooked.

I used to think I was pretty good at this stuff until I saw the other pics posted. Doh! Here's my contribution anyway - '53 chevy steering column with power steering from Fat Man.

Just because I said "home made" doesn't mean I didn't want professional shops to show off there talents! If it's made with your hands or is made using machines but is a one-off piece, Lets see 'em!

Couple of mine... all one-off, as requested. Made with a cutting wheel, drill press and hole saw and welded up. No mills or special meachining tools. I WISH I had that kind of stuff. Nothing special, but was fun to make...

Here are a few that I have pictures of that I have built for my latest project.

I had 10 hours in making the tail light brackets and mounting them.
The headlights brackets where a little easier, but still took a lot of time.
I guess the tailgate hinge is a bracket, but it's something I'm proud of anyway.

everything you saw on that was cut by hand,, paper stencil, blue dye, used a plazma by hand to cut it out ,, sanded on a belt sander, machined little nut cover for the top, and bottom to hide the bolt, and cover to hide the rubber mount, 1st set I ever made, And I live in my shop.. soooooo can i still play.. ;)quote=delswanson;3342815]Just because I said "home made" doesn't mean I didn't want professional shops to show off there talents! SanIyam,
You might consider adding the piece behind and under the harmonic balancer. I built a set just like yours back in 1963. Had them on a 283 in a T bucket. The first time I dumped the clutch the bolts sheared clean off.

The only thing I meant by that is I didn't want to see mass produced "cookie cutter" stuff. Even if you sell the stuff you make, if it's creative we'd all like to see it.
Your stuff is kick-ass, thanks for showing it!

I agree. I like to see other peoples work for inspiration. It makes me want to build mine even better the next time when I see something like Sellers makes, it's like artwork.

My dad loved making brackets, braces and etc on the sub, as you can see lol
It's what he's very creative at
And I got tons of build pictures of all the build of the brackets and braces all done by hand... That is what makes a car those fine details

I love this thread. Keep it going! I love creative but clean looking brackets. I made a pretty cool alternator bracket for the cockroach. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get it nice enough for chrome but it came out nice. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. I hope BASS posts a picture of his stuff. The generator bracket he made for his roadster is perfect.
